Speed Up Windows By Disabling Indexing Service
Here i am presenting a small but effective tweak you can perform to speed up your windows instantly. Well File Indexing service is a service inbuilt with Microsoft Windows which helps in searching files at very fast speed.

But the problem is that it consumes high resources and slows down the process time of your windows. So you can easily speed up your windows and decrease the response time by performing very easy tweak.

File indexing is a Windows service that like many others, is totally useless – unless you do a lot of searching on your computer. As most users don’t, it’s a good idea to disable it to speed up actions like opening and closing files and folders .

To disable the Indexing Service Follow Below Simple Steps:
  • Go to run command (For Windows XP) or directly enter SERVICES.MSC in the search box of start menu (For Windows Vista,7).
  • After typing this a new window will open which will look like this :-Speed Up Windows By Disabling Indexing Service
